My father had a heart attack a couple of months back. He hasn’t gotten clearance to return to work yet, so I invited him to spend some time with my family. I had five other siblings to contend with for attention and my father worked a lot. These two weeks offered me something that I have never had growing up, plenty of time to talk, take photos around the yard, and work in the garden together. He also busied himself with many projects around the property while I attended to many daily life chores. Many times, we had to push him to take it easy and not overwork that healing heart of his. Our friends on the bus loved having him here as well. Tiffany agrees that we really need a built in Grandpa / gardener around here! I took these photos at the end of his trip. It wasn’t planned, I just needed him to model for me while I was setting up the lighting. Dad, like myself, is used to being on the opposite side of the camera, but he was a great sport while I was shooting. Here are a couple of my favorite out of the set. I also added two of him with his granddaughters Aurora and Velouria. ❤
looking good John, really glad you pulled through! You’re an amazing man! Love you lots!
